The Art of Beautiful Writing for beginners, 3 day workshop
Pointed pen calligraphy is a beautiful and expressive form of handwriting that uses a pointed nib to create elegant, flowing letters. Unlike broad-edge nibs, which produce uniform strokes, the pointed nib allows for varying the line thickness depending on the pressure applied. This technique is known for its graceful curves and intricate details, making it ideal for formal invitations, decorative documents, and artistic projects.
In this 3- week workshop we will learn the basics of the Copperplate script. We will cover the Basic Tools and Materials, the basic strokes and letter formation, and practice and application.
