Call for Art: Print-Based Works for “Impressions”

Gallery 200 through our Main Street Gallery invites artists to submit original print-based artwork for inclusion in “Impressions,” a juried exhibition that will run July through August 2025. This exhibit is part of a county-wide initiative supporting the College of DuPage’s Hokusai exhibition, celebrating the enduring influence and innovation of printmaking.

We are seeking compelling print works—whether rooted in tradition or pushing the boundaries of the medium—that reflect the diversity and vitality of contemporary printmaking.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Open to artists 18 years and older.

  • Artists may submit 1–2 images of original, print-based work.

  • Eligible media includes (but is not limited to): woodcut, linocut, etching, screenprint, monotype, lithograph, or hybrid forms.

  • Artwork must be ready to hang, with a maximum size of 24 x 36 inches, including frame.

  • All accepted work must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition.

Additional Sales Opportunity:

Selected artists will also have the opportunity to bring up to 5 smaller, unframed prints (e.g., matted or in protective sleeves) for sale during the exhibition.
Gallery 200 will retain a 20% commission on all works sold.

  • Artwork Delivery: June 28-29 10am-2pm

  • Exhibition Dates: July 1 – August 31, 2025

“Printmaking Exhibit Submission – [Your Full Name]”

Include the following:

  • Name, address, phone number, and email

  • Artist bio (optional, max 150 words)

  • Statement about your submitted work (optional, max 100 words)

  • Up to 2 high-resolution images (JPG, 300 dpi, labeled: LastName_Title)

  • Title, medium, dimensions, and year created for each work
