This workshop not only introduces you to this dynamic medium but also invites you to contribute to a meaningful community art project, “Rising from the Ashes: Hope and Healing Through Art.”
What You’ll Learn:
Understanding Alcohol Inks: Explore the unique properties of alcohol inks, how they differ from other art mediums, and the variety of surfaces suitable for your creations.
Basic Techniques: Master essential techniques such as blending, layering, and creating texture. We’ll provide an overview of tools and materials, including brushes, blending solutions, and different types of paper.
Color Theory: Delve into how to mix and manipulate colors for stunning effects. Understand color relationships to create harmonious palettes that enhance your artwork.
After mastering the techniques, you’ll design a feather for a phoenix, contributing to the community art project.
All necessary materials will be supplied.
Who Should Attend: This class is ideal for anyone 8 yrs and up interested in exploring a new artistic medium, from complete beginners to those looking to enhance their creative skills.
